Leading with illustrated short romance fiction by Mary Synon and Louise Taylor Davis, the middle of the magazine was full of fashion illustrations for women, and girls, promoting the publishers’ series of Standard-Designer patterns, followed by recipes and household hints. Gorgeous ads for Kellogg’s Pep cereal featuring a tennis player, Campbell Soup and Ford Cars.
