Terms of Service

Purchases may be returned for any reason within 14 days of receipt in their original condition. Any items returned must be insured for the invoiced value. All items remain the property of the seller until payment has been received in full. 

We accept payment by credit card, UK cheque, bank transfer (fees for transfers paid by sender), or Paypal. Prices are in Pounds Sterling and payments in other currencies must be arranged in advance. Reciprocal courtesies to the trade. The Second Shelf is a member of the PBFA and upholds their Code of Practice.

Due to Covid-19, books that cannot be received can be purchased and held for shipping until arrangements to receive them can be made.
