Accompanied by a letter from Kathryn White from the Brontë society. Inside an envelope, there is a Christmas card from Helen H. Arnold, two photographs of her embarking a boat (in the reverse it reads in blue ink: off to England!) and a photograph of a dog. Some newspaper cuttings, including a review of the Year Book. Illustrations by Louise B. Graves, second cousin of Emily Dickinson. A perfect gift.
Hardcover with dust jacket. Card bound, blue with black spine and gold lettering. Some bumping on the corners, slightly worn and toned edges. Dust jacket faded at spine and worn at edges. Overall in very good condition. Inscribed by editor Helen H. Arnold, dated 1948.
