In the early 20th century women with the new bobbed hairstyles were required by law to wear hair nets at work involving food. A variety of colours, including Gray, Blonde, a range of Browns and Black. Styles include Bobbed, French, Cap, and Invisible. Several packages have pen prices to front, Royalty extra-fine has loss to one corner, Jac-o-net package states three hair nets but only one present. This is an excellent collection in very good condition with strong connections to fashion, technology, and women’s labour history. 1930s-1960s
