Garland Chapbook No. 1, The Plain Facts is a short poem by Ruth Pitter CBE, who won the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry, with illustration by Joan Hassall OBE. A poem of friendship or love about the simple sharing of a smile, in the most delicate of formats, one of 300 copies made. Quite tiny and lovely.
