This is the eleventh publication of Sally Mann’s work in book form, a collection of soft focused, low contrast, ghostly landscape photographs of the American South. Mann produced this series using antique lenses, which contribute to the particular aesthetic she intends to convey, seeing landscape as a reflection of mood and psyche.
