Blue cardboard folder containing an intact collection of important documents relating to NOW, the National Organization for Women. Labelled folder and notes from the N.O.W. Eastern Regional Convention 1973, along with a collection of related items kept in the folder. Over 50 items include blank NOW letterhead, copies of letters sent to various organisations challenging business practice or comments, invoices, fundraising request letter, membership list, Congressional Record dated Tuesday 25 March 1969, bumper sticker reading "Sexism is a Social Disease" in black letters on fluorescent pink background, NOW monthly newsletter March 1973, handwritten notes, NOW publications including "Sexism is..." leaflet and NOW Accomplishments 1966-1973. On the cover of the folder is handwritten “Sisterhood is powerful”.
