A hand-painted floral pyrography millinery display stand of turned wood. Very pretty art nouveau item likely produced by The Flemish Art Company of Brooklyn, NY and Hoboken, NJ produced a great deal of Art Nouveau novelty items like glove boxes with Gibson girls on the lid and other useful accessories for a woman’s vanity in wood in the early 20th century, with much of the hand-decorating executed by women. Small nicks and wear, but lovely condition.
