Lovely miniature brown velvet handmade needle case in form of a book. Clamshell style box lined with metallic gold embossed paper on interior and lovely lithograph of girl with a dog pasted to interior lid. Exterior has a die cut floral arrangement on the “book”’s cover. The “pageblock” is trimmed with brown velvet ribbon over gilt paper. Slightly worn from use but very pretty and sturdy. The hinged lid supported by the fabric cloth binding. 1x2.25x3 inches. Pretty and useful.
